BSkyB extends its Cavena subtitling system
BSkyB's playout center in London has upgraded its Cavena system to enable transmission of live subtitles. The existing deployment thereby gets the abillity to transmit subtitles in real-time, as they are being typed. The system is interfaced to BSkyBs terminals for live subtitling.
British Sky Broadcasting is the operator of the UK's largest digital pay television platform and a leading broadcaster of sports, movies, entertainment and news.
