All design work is made in-house by our R&D team.

Cavena is a leading manufacturer of subtitling systems, with a worldwide base of installed systems receiving support from local distributors or Cavena Support Team in Sweden. Cavena provides state of the art subtitling solutions for everyone, from the free-lance subtitle translator to the multiple channel playout-center.

The Cavena subtitling systems are language independent and subtitles can be edited and transmitted in any language including more complex languages such as Chinese, Japanese etc.

Cavena subtitling systems are built on standard computers (PC) and operating systems Windows NT, 2000 and XP. The systems are networked using TCP/IP. Cavena stores one file per language in a proprietary file format. Cavena is also capable of converting to and from most other subtitle formats. Cavena has systems for all output formats including: In-vision (analogue and SDI format), Closed captions (Line 21 and Teletext), Digital platform formats (DVB and manufacturer specified formats). Cavena interfaces to most Station Automation and Traffic systems and new interfaces are built to customer requirements.
